Barents Artistic Gymnastics Competititon 28.9.2024

 We are happy to invite you all to the artistic gymnastics Barents Competition 2024 held in Oulu, Finland. We are proud to continue this great tradition that started back in 1956, when the first Kalottkampen was held in Kiruna.  

 

Men’s and women’s Artistic Gymnastics 

Age group: born in year 2011 and older 

Apparatus MAG: Floor GYMNOVA, ph sr vt pb hb SPIETH 

Apparatus WAG: Floor and uneven bars GYMNOVA, vault and beam SPIETH 

Competition rules: FIG CoP Junior 

Team Competition format: 5-5-3 MAG and WAG 

 

Team structure: 

1 Head of delegation 

MAG: 5 gymnasts, 1 coach, 2 judges 

WAG: 5 gymnasts, 1 coach, 2 judges 

 

 

Friday 27.9. 

• Arrival in Oulu and check in at Scandic Oulu City 

• 17:00-20:00 Podium training (no schedules on apparatuses/open gym) 

 

Saturday 28.9. 

• 10:00-11:50 Warm up (lunch available 10:30-12:00) 

• WAG floor 10:40-11:20 and WAG vault 11:20-11:50 

• MAG vault 10:40-11:20 and MAG floor 11:20-11:50 

• 11:00 Judges meeting 

• 11:55 March in for gymnasts 

• 12:00 -> Competition (team, all around, apparatus) 

• Price ceremony right after competition  

• 18:00 Barents meeting for coaches, judges and head of delegations at Scandic Oulu City 

• 19:00 Banquet at Scandic Oulu City

Registration and deadlines	Registration via email to janne.haapajoki@oulunpyrinto.fi  Nominative entry latest 8.9.2024    Payment    Oulun Pyrintö will send an invoice and it must be covered before the competition. Please include your club’s billing information in the registration.
Travel expenses	Each delegation must cover their own travel expenses.
Entry fee	65 eur / gymnast   25 eur / coach/judge  Including competiton fee, saturday lunch and saturday evening banquet.
Insurance	All gymnasts must have an insurance that covers competition abroad.
